W-Series Alpine Suit

The W-Series pants/bib for maximum altitude mountaineering activities. Ready for the cold? Our W-Series Alpine Suit pants feature synthetic insulation in the lower area and a Polar Stretch Grid® fabric upper bib that provides additional warmth. The upper part features two pockets, which when combined with other garments from the W-Series collection, allow you to have everything accessible in the chest area, protected from the cold even when wearing a harness. Its Kevlar fabric on the knees, hem, and rear guarantees durability against friction with rock and ice.

Its outer fabric offers excellent resistance to wind and rain (PFC-Free), which combined with Sorona® bio-synthetic insulation panels (160 gr/m2), guarantee thermal protection and optimal breathability. Combine it with other garments from the W-Series collection and discover the lightest and most functional way to move in the mountains. Ideal for wearing over the W-Series Merino Base Layer. Combine it with the W-Series Waterproof Shell Pants for a perfect combination of cold protection and waterproofing. Designed for high-mountain activities in very cold temperatures.

Fabric: 100% Nylon Rip Stop 15D * 15D.

Filling: 100% Polyester Biopolymer Sorona® DuPont® 80g. The bio-synthetic Sorona® DuPont filling offers excellent thermal insulation, is highly compressible, quick-drying, and eco-friendly. Sorona® contains 37% renewable plant-based ingredients. Sorona® fibers absorb very little water, maintaining their thermal properties even when wet.

Technology

The STORMFLEECE™ PRO fabric uses a patented technology from Singtex® to create a single-layer fabric (without a membrane) that is capable of withstanding wind and rain, while also offering excellent thermal insulation, high breathability, durability, and a very soft touch. STORMFLEECE™ PRO fabric is made by combining techniques and its innovative construction allows the fabric to leverage the strength and flexibility of the fibers while significantly reducing material consumption. Its densely woven structure minimizes fiber and thread waste, resulting in a unique fabric with a resistant exterior feel and a soft interior.
